Be Inspired By The Colourful Graffiti Art At The East Side Gallery And See The Remaining Of The Berlin Wall
The East Side Gallery is located along the Spree river, the main waterway running through Berlin. It is a memorial of freedom and the longest remaining section of the Berlin Wall (1.3 kilometres) which once separated East and West Germany.
Shortly after its fall in November 1989 the wall was turned into an open-air-gallery covered in declarations of peace and the reunification of Germany in 1990. Come and see the colourful art pieces and learn about Berlin’s history.
